STATE BRIDGE

Went for a long ride today out to a little slice of heaven I call State Bridge!

Now you may be saying to yourself, State Bridge is nothing more then a general store, bar, camp ground and a relic of a colapsed bridge. But you are WRONG! It is actually less. State Bridge isn't even open until May 26th. So it is basically 25 miles off in a remote location with a couple of buildings to lean your bike against while you think about the long ride home.

The road out wasn't very heavily traveled by cars and about 50% of those cars actually give bike riders a bit of space. The road rolled the whole way out culminating at Wolcott Divide. From here, the descent is fast into State Bridge. Probably 3 or 4 miles of donkey tucking with speeds easily reaching 50mph.

I would have prefered some warmer weather, but what can you do.
